How do you know if you’re making progress in your photography?

Our client has lost her digital photos and kindly asked to resent , I was lucky to find them and I was lucky to notice the RAW files as well I hated my editing a few years ago so I applied my current editing for the same photo and I was SO HAPPY with the result I am sure, everything that happens happens for a reason! We get so busy with our everyday life that sometimes its sooo important to take a break and look back on your life. I am a perfectionist who has a personality that strives for flawlessness, I am never satisfied with my work , but actually this client helped me to look back on my work and notice my progress! Yes, its very important to grow, increase our knowledge in photography, experiment, enter photography contests, but even more important is our ability to enjoy the moment. Let yourself be proud of YOUR PROGRESS ! Get back to your old photos, compare your work and SMILE Positive emotions are soooo important ! They open us up to new possibilities, we are more able to learn and build on our skills. Such simple steps, but such POWERFUL !
